Patient Safety Fellowships (located at several sites)
The VA Office of Academic Affiliations and NCPS offer a one-year fellowship in patient safety. Though the fellowship year begins in July, qualified applicants are invited to apply to any/all fellowship sites simultaneously at any time during the year.
We accept applications from:
- Post-residency trained physicians
- Post-doctoral or post-masters-degree-trained associated health professionals, such as:
- Nurses
- Psychologists
- Pharmacists
- Social workers
- Health care administrators
A Ph.D. in a related field can also qualify you to apply for a fellowship position. For example:
- Computer science
- Human factors engineering
- Anthropology
- Sociology
We offer seven fellowship sites: Ann Arbor, Indianapolis, Lexington, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa, and White River Junction (Vermont), which are linked electronically for didactic, academic and research efforts.
